Cyber Innovation: Use prior experience and knowledge, software development skills, and in-depth research of network technologies and cyber tools and techniques to develop innovative solutions to address customer and industry needs. Design Cyber Solutions: Interact directly with customers to establish detailed requirements for cyber solutions that will ultimately bolster our nation's Cybersecurity posture. More About this Role:
- Provide technical leadership on tasks to design, develop, test, and maintain real-time embedded and application software on network systems.
- Provide technical leadership to peers on R&D tasks developing innovative security analysis tools and software hardening techniques.
- Become a subject matter expert in various network technologies and products (e.g. Optical Transport, IP/MPLS, 4G/5G wireless, etc.).
- Vulnerability research to identify and evaluate security strengths and weaknesses in networks and systems of various technologies.
- Perform reverse engineering tasks on Windows, Linux, mobile device and other embedded platforms.
- Develop relationships with customers and cooperatively identify new approaches to address customer needs.
- Obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level to perform the duties of the position
You'll Bring These Qualifications: - Strong software development skills and demonstrated experience in current languages such as C, C++, Python, etc.
- Experience with Linux operating systems at various layers (boot, kernel space, user space).
- Demonstrated competency with assembly languages, such as MIPS, x86, PowerPC, and ARM.
- Experience with software development of embedded systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts in routed, mobile, and optical networks.
Education: - BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: - An active TS/SCI clearance is strongly desired.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and current and emerging network technologies (IP and Wireless networking, and Optical Transport technologies preferred).
- Ethical hacking skills and experience with reverse engineering tools.
- Experience with cybersecurity vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
