Seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic engineering team. As an SDET, you will play a critical role in the development, testing, and delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and reliability. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, automation, and building robust testing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Collaborate with developers to understand application features and create effective test strategies.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing for applications.
- Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and other relevant technologies.
- Identify, report, and track defects and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Perform code reviews and ensure that testing is integrated early into the software development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and workflows.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Monitor and analyze test results, and provide actionable insights to enhance software quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience as an SDET or in a similar software testing/automation role.
- Proficiency in Java is required.
- Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and others.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and version control tools like Git.
- Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) and database testing.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
