The R&D News department at Bloomberg is looking for senior software engineers to play a leading role in the design and implementation of some of the most critical applications on the Bloomberg Terminal. Our team works on problems such as real time search and query filtering, low latency indexing, text classification, collaborative filtering, machine translation and others. These applications are integral parts of a real time processing pipeline that processes over 1 million news stories a day from over 80,000 sources.
