Here's what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsBSEE, BSCE, BSCS or related degree plus 8+ years of current embedded software development experienceKnowledge of compilers, assemblers, debuggers, knowledge of systems software, data structures and algorithmsStrong programming skills in C/C++ , strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skillsBe able to work in a team-oriented environment, strong verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with GitDesirable RequirementsBasic understanding of x86 based personal computer architecture and operating systems, experience in firmware or BIOS/UEFI development, scripting (Python) and assembly experienceFamiliarity with Agile methodologies, as well as with using the Atlassian suite of tools (BitBucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence), familiarity with standard hardware protocolsCompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
