  • Perform test planning, test case development, and test execution (manual)
  • Testing on client platforms and hardware
  • Analyzing test failures and filing detailed defect reports.
  • Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution.
  • Provide updates and submit reports related to own area of work.
Requirements for the role:
  • Minimum Requirements: 1+ years of professional work experience as a Blackbox Software Quality Analyst or related.
  • Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution.
  • Analyze test results and identify defects, patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed reports.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience testing mobile devices, laptops, hardware, home technologies, and Bluetooth accessories.
  • Previous experience with annotation and data analytics is a plus Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Curious and proactive. Loves to learn and explore.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Previous experience working with Virtual Assistants is a plus.
  • An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the team and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
  • This position is working in an office environment.
Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or at any time in the future. Hourly Rate and Other Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $27.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
