Position Summary*MUST LIVE LOCAL TO DOVER, DE AND SUROUNDING AREA, THIS POSITION IS 100% ONSITE* The
Software Quality Assurance Tester III is responsible for planning and executing functional testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure systems are operational and ready for testing. Key responsibilities involve testing software releases and patches, maintaining and patching Windows servers, and creating and updating Software Requirement Specifications (SRS). Additionally, the Tester oversees the deployment of approved releases to production and ensures the operational integrity of all environments. Job Functions:
- Plan and execute system and functional testing.
- Support UAT and maintain the functionality of test environments.
- Administer Windows servers, including user account management, updates, and patch maintenance.
- Follow maintenance protocols to ensure system accuracy and security.
- Act as a liaison between the lottery client and software development for requirements and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with local operations management on corporate requests and changes to the central system.
- Manage the life cycle of changes to the central system, ensuring quality control of software releases.
- Create, test, and implement various Lottery promotions.
- Write and maintain software and technical requirement specifications.
- Engage with external resources to resolve critical issues.
- Research and develop solutions for technology issues.
- Assist with system failovers as per contractual requirements.
- Support local database programs using SQL Server and MySQL.
- Provide customer support for incidents and problems.
- Work non-standard shifts and be on-call during system events.
- Design, prioritize, and implement test plans.
- Test scripts and procedures affecting the data center environment.
- Manage critical customer-related tasks and multiple priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience with relational database management, including SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Unix, Windows, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu operating systems.
- Knowledge of VMware for virtualization management.
- Quick learner of new technologies.
- Strong time management and communication skills.

Qualifications Education and Qualifications Associate's Degree in Computer Science or 3 years of technical system experience.
