Job Title: Software Test Engineer (Contract) - Job#4701 Location: Remote Responsibilities:
- Provides test planning, development and execution as a team member or work autonomously within Agile teams to develop extensive automated test suites providing comprehensive coverage of applications, including, but not limited to: API/SDK/Web Applications and Services in the form of static reviews, unit, module, performance, load and integrated systems testing.:
- Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, and their modifications.
- Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Defines internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
- Creates and execute test cases, update defects, project tasks and reports for projects based on requirements, planning documents and ad hoc testing.
- Documents and analyzes test cases and provides feedback and recommendations for product or design changes.
- Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.
- Contributes to the development of improvements to overall testing and quality programs for improved results.
- May coordinate with vendors or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.
- Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.
- Prepares utilities, data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows.
- Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
- Develops and implements improvements to overall testing and quality programs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Required::
- Associates Degree in MIS, CIS or related field
- 1+ years software development or 3+ years automated software testing experience, preferably with Visual Studio, REST/SOAP
- Experience working with automated test tools, preferably Visual Studio/Eclipse IDE, Selenium Web Driver, SQL query construction in order to provide a blueprint for test automation solutions & test automation architecture.
- Basic understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery concepts (CI / CD) and also should be aware of CI tools like Jenkins/Bamboo, etc.
