Role Description
As a Residential Solar Sales Advisor, you'll have the opportunity to set your own goals and drive your own success. You'll generate leads through various methods, including networking, referrals, events, and targeted canvassing, while also receiving leads based on your individual performance. Qualifications
- Solar Industry and Solar Power knowledge
- Lead Generation skills
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in renewable energy or related field is a plus
- Certifications in solar energy or related areas are beneficial
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with online presentation tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and CRM software.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
- Reliable vehicle required for travel to fulfill sales objectives.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Positive attitude and ability to represent the company well.
- Recent model smartphone and laptop or tablet for lead setting and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems in the field.
- Capability to work from home, field, or office as needed.
- Proven track record in sales and/or lead generation.
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience (solar experience preferred, but not required).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to set sales goals and maintain activities to achieve them.
- Prospect and schedule your own sales appointments.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers.
- Stay informed about industry trends and company policies.
- Build and nurture a strong network for referrals.
- Utilize company sales and marketing tools to maintain accurate records and follow up with leads.
- Prepare for prospecting activities and sales appointments with all necessary materials.
- Attend required training sessions and sales meetings.
