DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be responsible for developing Solar Module sales business.
• Evaluate the regional market situation, including the supply/demand status & trend, government policy, main competitor's presence & performance, main distributor/installer'sbusiness relationship, and identify the key potential partners, including distributors, installers, consultants, etc.
• Make appropriate BD strategy against each specific potential partner, establish the business relationship and deepen the relationship throughout continuous follow-up.
• Set the quarterly & annual sales target, and achieve the target in every possible way.
• Assist marketing with regional initiatives e.g., exhibitions, presentations, and product launch, etc.
• Prepare sales reports for periodic review.
• Collect & understand customer needs, market trends and input from across organizational leadership to align product strategy and roadmap in the PV module segment.
• Engage with leading key players in the assigned territory and understand their key business drivers to ensure our product and service offer maximizes value for their portfolio.
• Develop proposals in response to customers' tender requirements to ensure our product offering is optimized from both a technical and commercial basis.
• Explore new market segments for expansion of our product offering.
• Align with internal development and delivery team or external supplier to ensure consistency in product and schedule expectation.
• Conduct and participate in final product design review to assess product quality.
• Work with field marketing and sales team in managing product launch process.
QUALIFICATIONS
• At least five years of working experience in the Solar Module sales industry, with specific experience working with manufacturers or selling solar modules to developers and EPCs.
• Proven track record of sales and business development experience.
• Experience and ability to review and respond to customers' procurement processes.
• Confident with decision making in regard to determining Product guidelines, purpose, following through and completion.
• Understanding of financial reports including budgetary guidelines and product expenditures.
• Entrepreneurial background in sales capacity.
• Can-do personality, competitive and driven.
• Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
• High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and proactively without supervision.
• Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementing skills.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Proficiency in English.
