Our solar asset portfolio continues to increase at a near exponential rate, with a mixture of Owner developed and constructed sites and third-party sites contracted, or already under management. Our goal is to provide a more inclusive service capability, driving out the large expenses that are normally passed through to the owner.Origis is looking for a Site Lead/Supervisor to maintain a utility-scale solar power plant, troubleshoot, test, repair, and install equipment in designated locations in accordance with established standards and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar power plants in accordance with established standards and procedures; always maintains safety and professionalismTroubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely mannerProvide a working knowledge of troubleshooting electrical components with help and use of digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and similar equipment. Tests installed equipment, ensuring proper working order including daily mechanical electrical inspectionsResponsible for documentation including, but not limited to; work orders, service orders, time logs, and emergency information schedulesResponsible for Equipment Maintenance and Tool Control ProgramsManages the Site Safety and Accident Prevention ProgramsRuns the Area or Site Training ProgramMaintains inventory control of assigned equipment to ensure adequate stock levelsMaintain high quality control on provided tools, vehicles, and materialsTrain, mentor, and develop Solar TechniciansEnsure continuing education to meet safety and plant requirementsMaintain the Plant's vegetation requirements; includes mowing and spraying routinelyEmployment may require working on weekends and holidays, including an “on call” service availability via telephone/text messagePreferred QualificationsValid Driver's License REQUIREDInverter Specialist or Solar Technician with 3+ years' experience; Knowledgeable of renewable energy peculiarities; expertise in DC array technologyExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to perform basic electrical calculations, read and interpret electrical schematicsAbility to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervisionAbility to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs.Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgroundsAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningJob Level Lead / SupervisorHourly Rate $30- $45/ hourWE HAVE SITES AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:Falco, ALSpringfield, ILMonmouth, ILHamilton, TXFort Stockton, TXPalatka, FLUnion City, TNCentralia, MOMexico, MOSumrall, MSColumbus, MSCuba, NMPrewitt, NMOrigis Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOC).
