Position Details: Title: Solar Technician Location: Corpus Christi, TX Shift: Day shift Compensation: $38-40/hr Benefits: Comprehensive Corporate Benefits Package (Medical, Dental, PTO, 401K), companycell phone, company computer and company vehicle. Relocation Package Travel: None Position Description: --- Operate and monitor station equipment, including prime movers, compressors, valves, air, fuel, and cooling systems. --- Perform periodic inspections of all systems, ensuring they operate within set parameters. --- Recognize and react to abnormal conditions, taking appropriate action to maintain system integrity. --- Set up station operating modes based on system demands, ensuring efficient operation. --- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on station systems and equipment. --- Supervise operational pressures, monitor alarm set points, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. --- Assist in planning maintenance work and provide input on budget-related tasks as needed. --- Complete and maintain accurate reports on system operations and equipment status. --- Comply with Company policies and external regulatory requirements (PHMSA, EPA, etc.). --- Maintain a cooperative work environment, participate in safety programs, and collaborate with team members. Requirements: --- High school diploma or equivalent. --- 5+ years of relevant experience in system operation and maintenance. --- Valid driver's license and willingness to reside within 30 miles of the facility. --- Ability to work overtime, weekends, on-call, and travel as required. --- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. --- Strong knowledge of safety protocols, station operations, and troubleshooting procedures
