Position: Senior Soldering Technician
Location: Alvarado, TX (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
Soldering & Assembly:
Perform precision soldering of electronic components, including surface mount (SMT) and through-hole components.
Assemble and disassemble electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems.
Follow detailed schematics, technical drawings and wiring diagram to correctly assemble circuits and components.
Ensure all soldering work meets IPC-610 standards for quality, performance, and safety.
Inspect PCBs for proper solder joints, component placement, and overall assembly quality.
Identify and correct defects in soldering, component placement, and assembly processes.
Should have experience on High Temperature soldering and its different types of materials
Collaborate with engineers, production managers, and other technicians to improve assembly processes and product quality.
Provide training and guidance to junior technicians on IPC 610 standards and soldering techniques.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or an Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field preferred.
Certifications:
IPC-610 Certification (mandatory).
IPC-620 certification is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 06-20 years of experience in electronic assembly and soldering, Strong knowledge in soldering process (Both SMD and TH) as per the IPC-610.
Hands-on experience with SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.
Experience in Training and guidance to Junior technicians
Skills:
Strong knowledge of IPC-610 standards for soldering and assembly.
Proficient in the use of soldering tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
