Job Description:
Duties :

- Designing and implementing waste management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical expertise in waste disposal and recycling.
- Develop and implement waste management plans to meet environmental standards and regulations.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of waste management systems.
- Design and oversee the construction of waste disposal facilities.
- Stay informed about advancements in waste management technology and industry best practices.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative waste management solutions.
- Monitor waste management systems and evaluate their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on waste management issues.
- Prepare reports detailing waste management activities, compliance, and performance.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Solid Waste Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of waste management regulations and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of waste management principles.
- Proficient in waste management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with landfill design and operation.
- Project management experience.
