Job Description:
Duties :

  • Designing and implementing waste management systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing technical expertise in waste disposal and recycling.
  • Develop and implement waste management plans to meet environmental standards and regulations.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of waste management systems.
  • Design and oversee the construction of waste disposal facilities.
  • Stay informed about advancements in waste management technology and industry best practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify innovative waste management solutions.
  • Monitor waste management systems and evaluate their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on waste management issues.
  • Prepare reports detailing waste management activities, compliance, and performance.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Solid Waste Engineer or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of waste management regulations and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of waste management principles.
  • Proficient in waste management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with landfill design and operation.
  • Project management experience.
