As part of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud practice at Thunder, the Data Cloud Solution Architect plays a critical senior lead role on the programs and within the practice. The Data Cloud SA leads all discovery workshops, helping to define the clients vision, strategy and requirements for their project.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing strategy, customer lifecycle management, journey mapping functional expertise in helping clients define their unique campaign strategies and journeys
- Deep understanding of all Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud platforms, best practices and knowledge of newer capabilities and product roadmap
- Knowledge of utilizing a Customer Data Platform to build segments and deliver real-time communications
- Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices and IP warming techniques
- Understanding of Salesforce Sales and Service Clouds and how to leverage the MC Connector to integrate Marketing Cloud to other systems
- Data strategy expertise and understanding of how to align a clients data to power their marketing strategies and campaigns
- Expertise supporting both B2B and B2C clients, lead management and account based marketing techniques
- Knowledge of website/ecommerce personalization capabilities
- Knowledge of custom reporting, channel reporting, segment reporting and campaign optimization techniques
- Ability to support administrative tasks in Marketing Cloud like building email and SMS journeys, automations, filtered data extensions, email scheduling and deployment
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of consulting experience within the Salesforce ecosystem implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud (ideally having 2+ Data Cloud engagements completed under your belt)(Required)
- Ability to architect integrations with other Salesforce products including Service and Sales Clouds (Required)
- Consulting and implementation experience with MC Personalization, Intelligence, LM, and/or Tableau (Preferred)
- High comfortability with the integration of standard and custom data sources
- Strong business processes, process documentation, and process improvement skills, with the ability to associate everyday tactics to metrics defined in discovery
- Active Salesforce certifications and accreditations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud, and a willingness to achieve additional certifications on emerging technologies as required per the role
