**Job Profile Summary**
We are seeking a Solution Architecture Team Leader to lead a team of solution architects, and provide consulting services across various IT Services.? This position will be **full-time** and **remote.**
**What Youll Do**
Leadership and Team Management:
+ Lead and mentor a team of solution architects, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
+ Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment
+ Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for the team
+ Participate in recruiting
+ Manage staff on-boarding / off-boarding
Solution Design and Architecture:
+ Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements
+ Develop comprehensive solution architectures that align with client objectives and industry best practices
+ Oversee the creation of detailed design documentation, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and integration plans
Client Engagement and Consulting:
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert recommendations and strategic insights
+ Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with clients to gather requirements and present solutions
+ Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
Project Management:
+ Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements
+ Develop Ballpark Estimates to inform decision-making
+ Identify and mitigate risks associated with solution architecture and implementation
Technical Expertise:
+ Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in solution architecture
+ Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on complex architectural challenges
+ Drive innovation by exploring new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
+ Manage policy/security audits of software, platforms, and infrastructure hosted by third parties
+ Oversee the annual assessment of the health of applications supported by the CAI team
Collaboration and Communication:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, infrastructure admins, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution
+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership
+ Promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team and across the organization
**What You'll Need**
Required:
+ Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
+ 10+ years of IT experience
+ 2+ years of supervisory experience leading technical staff
+ Excellent written and oral communication
**Physical Demands**
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
