Overview SOSi is seeking to hire a Solutions Architect in Reston, VA to drive the technical solutions required to support ongoing innovation and evolution for the Network Engineering and Cybersecurity solutions we deliver to our customers. The Solutions Architect will serve as a Senior Technical Director of digital solutions focused on client delivery, business development, and capture activities across the Federal market space, with a specific focus on systems-of-systems architecture and delivery and transformation of modern IT architectures. This position will report to the company's Chief Growth Officer (CGO) Essential Job Duties
- Identify, develop and recommend the best technical solutions and approaches to meet anticipated or actual customer requirements.
- Lead solution design and develop key artifacts including, but not limited to process diagrams and concepts of operation.
- Must possess detailed understanding of technologies and industry practices relevant to creating enterprise IT solutions, including familiarity with most of the following: network operations; service delivery models; ITIL; cybersecurity, including Zero Trust; identity management; digital trust; Risk Management Framework (RMF); authority to operate (ATO); cloud services; agile software development; DevSecOps; mobile technologies; smart devices; AI/ML; systems engineering; data visualization; data science; and data engineering.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in the company's business units, Business Development Department, and Office of the Chief technology Officer to bring the best technical and business strategies to differentiate SOSi.
- Help develop responses to government Requests for Information (RFIs) and Sources Sought notices.
- Lead technical solution strategy development for select opportunities during the business development lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission.
- Develop technical solutions and proposals to meet customer technical, schedule and price requirements.
- Contribute to SOSi win strategies and lead development of technical win themes.
- Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and supporting rationale.
- Work closely with proposal writers to articulate overarching approach and lead solution sessions, breaking out the most critical aspects of the proposal response.
- Develop white papers and briefings in support of capture efforts.
- Provide technical expertise to Program Managers during program start-up.
- Assist in technical issue resolution as requested by operational business line.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or STEM-related degrees.
- At least 10 years of experience in directing technical program activities or solution development that meet client objectives.
- Relevant technical certifications, such as ITIL, AWS, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, Oracle Database / MySQL Administration, Cisco certs, the CISM, CEH.
- Experience with enterprise and systems architectures and advanced capabilities transition.
- Experience with applied technology within the federal, defense and intelligence domains.
- Ability to form and lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to take a broad and enterprise view of the business and understand linkages across strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
- Ability to process ambiguous requirements and create specific compelling solutions.
- Experience in the development, drafting, and writing of technical and program management solutions in responses to competitive Government Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
