Job Description:

Role Solution Consultants are responsible for coordinating and delivering the technical implementation of the Oneview system. People in this role will have experience designing and implementing complex enterprise systems in healthcare environments. Career development in this role includes developing the skills to advance into Senior Solutions Consultant, Solution Architecture or Product Management roles. Responsibilities Solution design:

  • Driving technical discovery workshops, gathering and documenting detailed requirements
  • Designing and documenting solutions within the capability boundaries of the system and implementing solutions, including integrations and workflow configurations
  • Collaboration with Solution Architects to define and validate solution design decisions on large projects
  • Ensuring the Solution Design and implementation documentation is updated throughout the implementation process.
  • Deploying software releases to customer environments using Octopus Deploy.
  • Preparing configuration inputs for system configuration.
Solution delivery:
  • Coordinating the delivery of environment provisioning, product configuration, integration configuration/build, ensuring the solution is delivered in accordance with the design.
  • Act as technical point of contact for the Oneview Project Manager and the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Using configuration tools to configure the Oneview system as part of new customer implementations, customer expansions or new feature roll-out.
  • Working with internal teams such as Engineering, Product, QA, and Support to resolve issues, track bugs, test changes, rollout updates, deliver feedback, and enable technical excellence.
Testing and troubleshooting:
  • Planning and executing acceptance testing, in collaboration with customers, partners/third-party vendors, and Oneview teams.
  • Identify, document and coordinate resolution of issues, as needed during system implementation and operation.
Documentation and reporting:
  • Keeping the Solution Design and implementation documentation up to date.
  • Timely escalation of blockers or issues to management.
  • Report issues and problems (via Jira), gathering details to reproduce issues so development teams can implement fixes.
  • Contribute to the Technical Operations knowledge base.
Communication and collaboration:
  • Work closely with other teams including Account Management, Professional Services and Engineering to ensure the smooth implementation of the Oneview system.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, partners, third-party vendors, and colleagues.
On-site:
  • Traveling to customer sites when needed up to 50%
  • Located near a major airport (Chicago or St. Louis preferred)
Skills & Experience Required Professional and educational:
  • 5 years relevant work experience in a technical, customer-facing role.
Technical and clinical knowledge:
  • Experience of working with sensitive data (PII & PHI)
  • A solid understanding of the HIPAA requirements
  • Understanding of enterprise technology concepts including networking, servers, integrations and device management.
  • Experience of complex enterprise solution implementation.
  • Expertise in hospital information systems and workflows preferred.
  • Expertise in healthcare integration standards including HL7 and FHIR beneficial.
  • Experience with various client devices including Android hardware and troubleshooting
Troubleshooting skills:
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Curiosity and determination to resolve issues.
Communication skills:
  • The ability to communicate effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and team members is essential.
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
Customer service experience:
  • Customer-facing experience, including requirements elicitation.
General requirements:
  • Ability to work as part of a team or to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks.
