Skills/Qualifications:The Role:
As a Solutions Engineer, youll play a crucial role in supporting Oracle Database by providing technical expertise and support to Redgates partners, customers, and sales teams. Youll demonstrate how our products can solve specific customer problems related to Oracle Database and generate referenceable accounts and positive brand awareness.
While caring deeply about helping our customers succeed and meeting revenue targets, youll also work closely with the sales team and marketing on technical onboarding and training, as well as speaking at Redgate events (in-person and remote) to further educate our customers on the best practices of database change management, specifically within Oracle Database environments.

Your Work at Redgate Software:
Act as an advisor of Oracle database architecture.
Collaborate with Account Executives to demonstrate the business value of Redgate solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proof of concepts for customers.
Provide training and technical updates to Account Executives and Partners.
Lead technical training and development for the Sales Team, with regular reviews.
Work with Redgate advocates and product managers to support complex enterprise use cases.
Stay informed on competitors and market trends.
Relay customer feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
Represent Redgate at industry events, delivering demos and sessions.
Travel: 10-25%.
What You Bring to the Table:
Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, including objects, instances, databases, and schemas.
Proven experience as a solutions engineer or similar technical role in a high-tech company.
Up-to-date, hands-on experience with Oracles database technology.
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies in software delivery.
Experience in software development or database administration (desirable).
Ability to grasp technical information and effectively share it with a skilled audience.
Commercial awareness with a customer-focused approach to selling.
Demonstrable skills in planning and project management.
