As the Sommelier, you will play a crucial role in curating an exceptional wine program that complements our exquisite menu. You will be responsible for enhancing the dining experience through expert wine pairings and personalized service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an extensive wine list that reflects our culinary offerings and guest preferences.
- Provide wine recommendations and pairings to guests, enhancing their dining experiences.
- Educate the staff on wine selection and service, fostering a culture of knowledge and enthusiasm.
- Conduct wine tastings and training sessions for the team.
- Oversee wine inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of all wine products.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new arrivals, and vineyard developments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Sommelier in a Michelin starred or high-end restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of wines, including regions, varietals, and current trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for fine dining and commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Certification from a recognized wine education program (e.g., Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET) is a plus.
