- Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field preferred.

Position Summary:Responsible for using ultrasound equipment to help visualize internal anatomy functions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern.
- Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention.
- Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
- Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results.
- Manage several patients and priorities.
- Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members.
- Send images to PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
- Document in the patient chart in a timely manner.
- Subject to irregular hours.
- May be required to wear personal protective equipment as directed.
- Follow infection control and isolation guidelines.
- Adhere to all hospital polices and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
