Position: Inspector
Location: Plattsburgh, NY
Duration: Minimum 3 months
Frequency: 40/hrs per week - W2
Pay range: $30.00 to $32.00 per hour
Description:
The person will be responsible to:
- Perform visual and mechanical inspection on final product per the specifications and engineering documentation.
- Review delivery documentation and ensure it is complete and accurate before delivery.
- Identify and document any non-conformance.
Requirements:
- Must have practical experience performing final inspection on completed product.
- Experience performing mechanical and/or electrical inspection on assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
- Has knowledge of GD&T or equivalent standard. Must have the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Has experience in reviewing delivery documentation
- Must have experience using various mechanical inspection tools, such as micrometers and calipers.
- Has a minimum of five years experience performing inspections in transport, aerospace or military / defense manufacturing
- Is proefficient using Microsoft suite
- Must be computer savvy and own a laptop for this assignment.
- Will be working as W2 employee
- Has good communication skills and is a self-starter
- Has the ability to work in team and has a positive attitude.
