Sourcing ManagerPurpose: Empower our field team by sourcing wisely, packing effectively, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Responsibilities:
- Provide the right material, in the right quantity, at the right cost, at the right time.
- Work closely with Warehouse team, Project Management, Suppliers and Field Staff to ensure timely delivery of materials to properly support operations.
- Work with Estimating & PM teams to help specify job specific material.
- Control material costs and overages/shortages for projects.
- Engage with suppliers to anticipate any material issues in advance.
- Negotiate pricing & availability of project specific material with suppliers in coordination with Warehouse Director.
Qualifications:
- Warehouse material purchasing experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism
- Strong Computer competency (MS Office, Excel, email, etc. )
- Ability to learn new computer skills
- Friendly demeanor
- Ability to make common sense decisions
- Ability to work independently within the scope of the position
- Customer service oriented
- Willing to serve others
