Who you are:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic Sourcing Team at X. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement of hardware technology and data centers infrastructure. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate also has experience in SAAS technology. Applicants would need to be open to supporting other core operations of the business.
What You'll Do:
* Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hardware technology and data center procurement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize sourcing needs.
* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
* Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the sourcing process.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all sourcing activities.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to hardware technology, SAAS, and data centers.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement and sourcing, with a focus on hardware technology and data centers. Experience in SAAS procurement is a plus.
* Strong understanding of procurement principles, processes, and best practices.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and procurement software.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* High level of integrity and accountability.
