Sourcing Specialist Job Details Professional Discipline : Admin/Clerical Support Specialty : Recruiter Employment Type : Full Time City : Houston State : TX Pay Range : Job Description:InGenesis is currently seeking a Sourcing Specialist to work with our client In this role, you will provide skilled assistance in the strategic sourcing of goods, equipment, or services. If you meet the qualifications outlined below, apply today and we'll reach out to answer any questions you may have!Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to)•Assists in contract negotiations, develops proposals, and implements supplier contracts and agreements.•Collaborates with suppliers and group purchasing organizations to assess emerging spend aggregation opportunities.•Develops comprehensive reports and presentations based on supply markets and market intelligence.•Works with suppliers to drive enabling technology solutions.•Meets with customers to identify and leverage sourcing and contract value opportunities.•Executes multiple complex analyses using financial models such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Lease vs. Buy and Economic Value Models.•Calculates and reports actual and projected sourcing savings by spend categories.•Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications•Bachelor's degree in Science, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. •Master's degree in business, management, hospital administration, or related field preferred. •3 years of progressive experience in contracting, supply chain management, and/or materials management.•Experience in sourcing and contracting for institutions of higher education and/or governmental entities preferred. •Facilities and construction experience a plus.
