Sempre Oggi is looking for a Sous Chef to work closely with our Executive Chef, Phillip Basone. Sempre is an elevated, modern Italian restaurant. We work with the best ingredients to create a menu that changes everyday. This is a great opportuniy for someone who is passionate about ingredient driven Italian cuisine.Qualifications•Strong command of the English language; outstanding writing and verbal skills•Minimum of 3+ years related experience working in a similar role•Excellent references required from both current and previous employers•Ability to fully manage kitchen cleaning, stocking, serving, maintenance, etc•Strong seasonal cooking skills; ability to replicate any dish/recipe•Exceptional organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize work•Polished, poised, and professional in both mindset and manor; use of utmost discretion at all times•Flexibility in scheduling; willingness to work long hours and overtime if necessary•Legally able to work within United States•An emphasis on traditional, seasonal, and Italian cuisine is preferred•Overseeing all elements of hospitality, food, and beverage service within the restaurant.•Organizing and maintaining kitchen, ensuring pantry is stocked at all times; maintaining inventoryOversee line cooks with minimum time spent cooking on the line More detail about Sempre Oggi part of Chef Driven Restaurant Group, please visit
