The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar upscale establishment and a proven ability to deliver high-quality cuisine while leading and mentoring kitchen staff.Key Responsibilities:•Assist the Executive Chef in leading all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, inventory, and scheduling.•Design and prepare menus that reflect creativity and a commitment to quality.•Produce high-quality dishes with exceptional presentation and flavor.•Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets the highest standards of quality and timeliness.•Act as a leader in resolving challenges and seizing opportunities in a dynamic kitchen environment.•Train, manage, and assess kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional atmosphere.•Manage inventory and ordering to ensure proper stock levels.•Monitor and maintain compliance with sanitation, health, and safety regulations.•Support financial objectives through effective cost control and waste management.Qualifications:•At least 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in an upscale hotel, fine-dining restaurant, or comparable establishment.•Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.•Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.•A passion for culinary innovation and delivering an exceptional dining experience.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.What We Offer:•Competitive salary and benefits package.
