Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Preparing meals
- Support a disciplined environment and provide supervision in the absence of the Culinary Services Director.
- Manage food inventory appropriately and set up work areas/stations with all necessary supplies in advance of meal service.
- Perform portion control and minimize waste to keep costs within forecasted ranges for recipes.
- Understand and maintain all necessary documentation, including but not limited to, time/temperature logs, menus, invoices, etc.
- Uphold cleanliness standards
- Help serve residents
- Train and mentor new employees

Qualifications
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience as a Cook or Line/Prep Cook
- Preferred experience as a Sous Chef
- Preferred experience managing food inventory
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Food preparation and production experience required
- Ability to meet all health requirements
- Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test
