The Southeast Regional Sales Manager, C-Stores will be responsible for managing key customers and developing sales within the Southeast Region of the U.S (MUST live within: NC, SC, TN, KY, GA, AL, or FL). The Southeast Regional Manager, C-Stores will successfully introduce, place, and grow distribution of Ruiz Food Products throughout the region. Achieving targeted top line sales while hitting profitability targets and maintaining excellent levels of internal reporting and communication will be the key metrics of success for this position.Ruiz Foods, the leading manufacturer of quality frozen Mexican foods across all major channels of the food industry, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager, Southeast - C-Stores. COMPENSATION: $125-135k/Year DOERESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key accounts within region.
- With input from Director of Sales and Foodservice BU Trade Marketing Team, develop strategies that drive long term profitable sales growth within region.
- Develop and implement customer specific sales plans that drive placement of new items, execute marketing promotions and drive growth of base business within region.
- Manage Associate Regional Sales Manager (ARSM), if assigned within region, to ensure execution of communicated strategies and to ensure accounts hit profitable growth goals.
- Satisfy internal reporting responsibilities which may include Monthly Sales Letters, Quarterly Business Reviews, and weekly updating of CRM.
- Manager the sales forecast for the SE Region. Collaborate with Demand Planning on monthly basis to ensure forecast accuracy.
- Manage all trade promotions/programs in conjunction with Foodservice Business Administrator. Includes approving all programs once loaded into Blacksmith tool.
- Ensure SE Region stays within approved trade spend budget.
- Manage travel/expenses and submit bi-weekly expense reports via Concur tool.
- Attend national and regional trade shows, conferences, and internal sales meetings.
- Collaborate with Category Analytics Team to prepare ongoing business reviews and execute with targeted customers.
- Track competitive activity within region and report updates on an ongoing basis to Foodservice BU Sales & Marketing leadership.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST live within: NC, SC, TN, KY, GA, AL, or FL
- Executes and attains defined Ruiz Foods business plans, generates sales, and manages spending within defined objectives.
- The preferred candidate will have a BA/BS degree (not required) as well as equivalent sales experience (minimum 8 years experience in the c-store/foodservice industry in an outside sales role).
- Must have a proven track record of sales success and experience managing key account relationships.
- The candidate must also be an excellent communicator (both written and when speaking), be team oriented, and and have the interpersonal skills needed to build strong business relationships.
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Power Point are required.
