Job Description: About the Job:The Director of Quality, Safety and Accreditation Programs is a member of the Southern New Hampshire Health System (SNHH) Quality Management leadership team that is collectively responsible for the management of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance at the Medical Center, Foundation Medical Partners, and The Greater Surgery Center of Nashua. The Director of Quality, Safety and Accreditation Programs has oversight of accreditation activities and of quality and safety efforts across SNHHS.
What You'll Do:- Lead and guide department staff in goal setting, problem solving, resource management, professionalism, and professional development. Overseeing recruitment and onboarding for departmental staff, and collaborate with the Executive Director of Quality Safety and Infection Programs on performance evaluations for quality management specialists.
- Manage regulatory and accreditation data to ensure compliance and set goals for publicly reported metrics while assisting in developing and analyzing salary, non-salary, and capital budgets.
- Assist in providing direction and oversight to the organization's efforts to achieve a CMS 5 Star and Leapfrog A rating, including data abstraction of quality metrics, analysis of performance, and improvement efforts.
- Provide oversight for accreditation activities including CMS CoP survey and centers for excellence and other accreditation programs across SNHH
- Facilitate meetings to discuss process improvement outcomes and collaborate with staff on quality improvement data.
- Develop quality scorecards and oversee staff surveys on safety and quality, implementing action plans as needed.
- Collaborate with quality department staff and hospital leaders to develop and disseminate the quality improvement and patient safety program throughout the organization.
Who You Are: - Current NH Registered Nurse license required.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification or Certification in Healthcare Quality Management (CHCQM) required.
- Master's Degree in a healthcare related field required.
- A minimum of five-seven (5-7) years of professional experience in a healthcare setting with responsibility for quality, safety and accreditation required.
