For more information visit: www.irco.com.Job Overview:Ingersoll Rand's Power Tools & Lifting (PTL) business is looking for a transformational Human Resources Manager to support our Southern Pines, NC facility. This facility performs machining and assembly of power tools, as well as pumps for our Precision Science Technologies (PST) Business Unit. This role directly reports into the Senior Human Resources Manager, Americas PTL.We are seeking an inspirational, hands on leader who can be a hands-on, transformational plant human resource leader to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies as well as effectively manage day to day HR tasks.Responsibilities:* Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, compensation & benefits, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications.* Ensure the fair and consistent application of policies and procedures, addressing policy and procedure questions and other issues for employees in timely fashion.* Lead and participate in investigations and resolutions of employee concerns and hotline complaints in coordination with Sr HRM and VPHR PTL as needed. Gather facts, documentation to support resolution and save documents to SP HR shared folder under employee file.* Serve as a performance coach for functional leaders to ensure the leadership team is highly effective in improving organizational capability and delivering increasingly higher value to our businesses and the overall company - comfortable spending a high percentage of time building relationships on the manufacturing floor.* Collaborate with COE and Shared Services partners in the design, development, deployment and continuous improvement of effective, sustainable HR processes and programs that enable business success.* Collaborate with HR colleagues in various businesses and regions to deliver highly effective, highly responsive HR solutions to functional managers and employees whether they report up through Corporate or through one of the Business Units.* Effectively collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring manager colleagues to fill open roles with the best talent as quickly as possible, while coaching partners on, and ensuring adherence to, the TA process.* Utilize effective change management approaches to ensure continuous improvement and other types of change are effectively implemented with minimal disruption to leaders, employees and other stakeholders.* Owns the Plant training gap assessment and local leadership development programs to ensure right talent capabilities and bench strength are developed to support the business.* Collaborating with the Plant Leaders to create a cultural which supports a respectful, safe, positive and inclusive environment.* Manages a sustainable workforce staffing plan and all recruitment/onboarding activities for the Plant, including vendor management.* Understand IR benefits plans and provisions, assist with employee questions of moderate complexity and refer complex questions to corporate and/or third party support team.* Own training and communication for Open Enrollment and Benefit/Wellness information and support the team's successful completion and understanding of the changes and action needed.* Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies to better hire, retain, develop and engage the site workforces.
