Case Management: Case Plan
Role Overview The vendor will support MDCPS in executing the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of the Pathways project, which aims to implement a Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The role requires expertise in quality assurance, test case development, and execution to ensure a functional, intuitive, and reliable system for end users.
Key Responsibilities Master Test Plan Execution: - Implement the strategies and procedures outlined in the UAT Master Test Plan.
- Monitor progress and address deviations or issues during test execution.
Test Case Development and Review: - Review System Integration Testing (SIT) test cases and results to ensure coverage aligns with project requirements.
- Assist in defining test cases, test data, and testing environments by collaborating with SMEs, Business Analysts (BAs), and staff.
Test Execution and Monitoring: - Conduct various tests, including functional testing, end-to-end scenarios, data validation, ADA compliance, regression testing, and report validation.
- Document results, identify defects, and track progress during end-to-end testing efforts.
Test Environment Setup Support: - Assist in smoke testing the test environment(s) to simulate end-to-end scenarios.
- Coordinate with teams to resolve environment-related issues.
Defect Management: - Validate, verify, and retest defects identified during testing.
- Track and report end-user test results.
Quality Management: - Define quality metrics and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct regular quality reviews, audits, and generate reports summarizing progress and milestones.
Resource Coordination: - Assist the UAT Test Manager with test case assignments for the UX test team.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between MDCPS staff and the UAT team.
Risk Mitigation: - Identify potential risks and challenges and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
- Support final validation with business stakeholders.
Skills and Experience Required Mandatory: - Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) knowledge or Child Welfare/Human Services experience.
- Experience writing comprehensive test scripts and conducting UAT.
- Resumes of all assigned personnel.
- Vendor resources must work onshore within the continental United States.
Preferred: - Demonstrated capability in executing UAT processes.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with MDCPS staff and test managers.
- Workplace: Primarily remote with 2-4 weeks onsite.
- Duration: Eight-month project.
- Tools and Equipment: Testing laptops and environments will be provided by MDCPS.
- Key Personnel: Substitution allowed only under specific circumstances, with prior notification and approval.
