The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.JOB DESCRIPTION:Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag business in search for a Soybean Production - Entry position. The purpose of this job is to learn how to perform Soybean Plant operations functions in order to benefit internal and external customers of the company, ensuring quality soybean production, while maintaining clean, safe, and well-kept facilities.Responsibilities:- Learn to operate the Soybean Plant master computer system. Assist in operations of the main master control, loadout, degumming, and oil filtering system along with recording data and generating system reports on a timely basis.- Learn how to make adjustments to process parameters based on oil test results.- After proper training has been completed, perform load-out functions, which include preparing trucks and rail cars for shipment and loading products (oil and meal) by rail and truck.- Learn various quality control functions including operation of lab equipment for meal and water, visual inspection of all types of inventory, and measuring physical inventory on a periodic basis.- Learn how to perform tasks in a safe and productive manner.- Greet all customers at the facility.- Perform general facility maintenance and housekeeping, including equipment inspection and monitoring through the facility.- Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers both orally and written.- Learn to use basic mechanical tools to perform required duties.- Work independently or together as a team.- Learn to use computer operational equipment.- Work 12 hour shift which may include days, nights, and overtime as required by supervisor.- Learn to record data and generate computer reports and processing written records on a timely basis.
