The Sonnenalp Hotel is looking for a Full Time Year Round Spa Concierge This position will close November 15th 2024 or until filled Wage 1800 2000 hour 600 800hour more with tips and commission Primary Purpose of Position The Spa Concierge is the primary point of contact for all guests during their visit in the Spa and assist them with whatever needs they may have Essential Duties and Responsibilities Answer phones in a prompt manner answer guests questions and book appointments accuratelyefficiently maximizing revenueSchedule appointments while adhering to Leading Hotel of the World LHW standardsCheck guests into appointments offering an orientation to the SpaCheck guests out of appointments and ensure guest satisfaction with treatments; handle cash credit card and room transactions accuratelyFacilitate communication between guests and service providersObtain a thorough understanding of Spa products and services in order to ensure effective and efficient recommendations to guestsMaintain a clean Spa environment and ensure all areas are fully stockedCoordinate with various departments to meet guests needs including reservations room service front desk engineering and housekeepingParticipate in regularly scheduled training sessions with Lead Spa Concierge andor Spa DirectorOpening and Closing of the Spa area in an effective and efficient manner using daily checklistsSell retail to guests and close sales for aestheticianstherapistsParticipate in performing monthly retail inventoryEducationExperience High School DiplomaResort andor spa experience preferredExperience with computer software systems including but not limited to Spa Soft Microsoft Office particularly Outlook HMS HotSOSSpecial SkillsEquipment Effective communicator with the ability to work in a team environmentProficient in English language oral and writtenCustomer service and sales experienceAbility to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to any new changes in policies or procedures with minimal issuesSelf initiator with well rounded problem solving skillsHigh attention to detailMaintain a high level of guest service and exceed all guests expectations when possibleKnowledge of Hotel policies and procedures outlets and specialsEssential Physical Requirements Full time Must work 36 40 hours per week on a varying schedule ranging from 7am until 8pmPart time Work up to 30 hours per week on a varying schedule ranging from 7am until 8pmAbility to lift 20 lbsMust be able to stand for 8 10 hours during shiftBenefits Resort DiscountsHoliday Pay Sick Pay401k Retirement Plan & Roth 401k After one year and 1000 hours workedEmployee Assistance ProgramParking Credit or Discounted Bus PassesEmployee Conduct It is the responsibility of every employee to contribute to a positive work environment through cooperative and professional interactions with co workers guests and vendors
