POSITION SUMMARYDeliver of a variety of spa services in a safe and comfortable manner with old world hospitality with charm.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIESThe following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all- inclusive:
  • Thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, possess a general understanding of body treatments.
  • Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results
  • Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body
  • Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body
  • Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture
  • Document guests condition and progress
WORKING CONDITIONSMust have ability to:
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, guests and outside contacts.
  • Work effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
  • Work long hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Extended time seated as well as on your feet.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or equivalent. 1 years of spa therapist experience. Current license in massage therapy, aesthetics or physiotherapy.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIESIn addition to the other duties described herein, each and every Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
  • Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
  • Obtain required licenses.
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the team member's department.
  • Adhere to Internal Control Procedures and Policies.
  • Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
