The Spa & Wellness Concierge is responsible for providing a seamless guest experience by assisting with spa service bookings, answering inquiries, and offering personalized recommendations. In addition to managing front desk duties, the Concierge will also be trained in and perform Spa and Fitness Attendant responsibilities as needed. This role ensures a luxurious and welcoming environment for all guests and reports directly to the Spa Director.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Guest Engagement: Welcome guests and guide them through the spa experience, including check-ins, locker setup, and service recommendations, ensuring a personalized and memorable visit.
* Scheduling: Manage all spa and fitness appointments, cancellations, and modifications, utilizing booking software to ensure an efficient schedule.
* Sales and Promotion: Actively promote spa treatments, retail products, and special promotions, contributing to increased sales and guest satisfaction.
* Facility Management: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, guest lounge, locker rooms, and fitness center.
* Spa and Fitness Attendant Duties: Learn and perform Spa and Fitness Attendant responsibilities, including setting up treatment rooms, assisting guests in the fitness center, replenishing supplies, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the spa and fitness areas.
* Administrative Duties: Process payments, manage POS systems, and maintain accurate guest records, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Customer Service: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and provide expert recommendations for spa and fitness services and products.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with spa therapists, fitness staff, and management to ensure the spa and fitness operations run smoothly.
* Event Support: Assist with spa events and promotional activities, including social media content creation and marketing emails.
* Flexible Scheduling: Support the spa and fitness center's operational needs by working shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
* QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one year of guest service experience, preferably in a luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality setting.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of spa services, wellness trends, and fitness operations preferred.
* Ability to learn and perform Spa and Fitness Attendant duties.
* Familiarity with spa booking software Book4time and POS systems preferred.
The Spa & Wellness Concierge is a multi-functional role that plays a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences. In addition to managing front desk operations, the Concierge will be cross-trained to assist in Spa and Fitness Attendant duties, ensuring a seamless and luxurious environment for all guests.
