We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary School Self-Contained Special Education Case Manager to join our team. This position is designed for an individual who is passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs in a self-contained classroom setting. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that promotes academic and social growth. Key Responsibilities: Student Support: Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring that goals are tailored to meet each student's unique learning requirements. Case Management: Serve as the primary liaison for students, families, and educational staff, coordinating services and resources to support student success. Curriculum Adaptation: Modify and adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students in a self-contained classroom setting. Behavior Management: Implement and monitor positive behavior intervention strategies, promoting a supportive classroom environment that encourages social skills development. Collaboration: Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning and development. Assessment and Reporting: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust IEPs as necessary. Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by state and federal regulations. Family Engagement: Communicate effectively with families, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in the IEP process. Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree or higher; NH State Certification in General Special Education and IDD required; Experience in Behavioral Interventions and ABA programming is required.
