Special Education Teacher (2025 – 2026 SY)
Location: Kutztown, PA 19530
Employment Type: Full-time, in person teaching position for the 2025 – 2026 school year.
Salary: $60,000 to $77,500 for certified teachers based on years of K-12 teaching experience and education; $60,000 to begin for candidates with or starting with a temporary private academic certificate.

Role Requirements
- Must hold an active PA teaching certification, such as a Private Academic Certificate, Level I or II Pennsylvania Instructional Special Education Certification K-12.
- Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor's degree and at least six credit hours in special education may qualify for a Temporary Private Academic Certificate.
- All New Story School teachers must have their PA license in place by August 1, 2025.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.
