We are proud to have 'National School to Watch' and 'Blue Ribbon Award' winning schools. Minimum Qualifications Requires valid teaching certificate. Special Education endorsement (SA, SB, SC, SE, SK, SL, SM, SV), highly desireable. In-person attendance required. This vacancy is considered to be in an area of teacher shortage. Certificated individuals are encouraged to apply even if not currently endorsed in the specific area of instruction. Temporary approval through MDE is available if the individual is not properly endorsed. Compensation Based on the current STEA Salary Schedule wages currently start at $44,037 for Bachelors Degree, no previous teaching experience; or $51,537 for Master Degree, no previous teaching experience. Standard benefits as provided in the contract. The STEA current bargaining agreement expired July 31, 2024 and is currently under negotiations.Pursuant to Public Act 68 of 1993 and Public Act 83 of 1995, selected new employees shall submit to fingerprints and a criminal background check at the employee's expense.
