We provide security officer, electronic security, fire alarm and background and investigative services, serving customers in multiple states throughout the Midwest region.Job Skills / RequirementsSpecial event security officers are expected to be observant and provide a visible deterrence to crime and disruptions at special events. Officers create a safe, secure and professional environment by interacting with the public, vendors, client's staff & other event support staff at their assignment by employing their training and following company policies and client instructions.We are currently looking to hire special event staff to help out at different venues for concerts and other events. Great way to make some extra money.Schedules are flexible, and the hours all depend on when we have events. Some events may be for only 4 hours, others for 8 hours. Majority of the events are on the weekends, however each venue does also have shows during the week. You will need to be able to stand for long periods of time.Pay depends on the event, but can range between $16 - $18 per hour.Those that are hired must provide their own Khaki and Black pants (depends on the venue you will be working) and black shoes.Again, there are no guaranteed weekly hours. This is an as-needed position.Position Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service to guests, other employees and the general public.Maintain safety and protect each venue from any real or perceived threats.Ensure only authorized staff and guests are permitted access to the event.Maintain high visibility by continuously patrolling all areas to which you are assigned and the public has access.Assist with the emergency procedures, including evacuation, if necessary.Respond to all building emergencies, including guest- and facility-related emergencies.Investigate incidents as required, in such situations as injuries, damage to property, theft/loss and assault.Complete administrative duties as required including completing incident reports.Perform other related duties as required.Per Mar is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabilities.#QDCI
