JOB SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator will assist in the continued development of the brand identity, special event programming, and marketing execution for Caesars New Orleans Casino and Hotel. This role is responsible for planning and execution of events by creating advertising and promoting through social media channels within Caesars Casino include partnering with food and beverage, banquets, gaming and Caesars Rewards. Responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in all projects related to the successful planning, coordination, administration, and execution of various marketing projects and activities. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the marketing budget, closing financial reporting and ensuring all marketing items are in line with our brand identity. This position is fully integrated into Caesars New Orleans Marketing team and reports to the Manager of Marketing. This position will collaborate with Marketing, Advertising and Social Media leadership to design programs that enhance the Caesars brand and drive incremental revenue.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS: • - Assist with planning and executing special events from slot tournaments, dinners, gift giveaways, and promotional drawings
- Being flexible in a high paced environment to complete job duties in a timely manner.
- Coordinate daily functions to prepare for promotions and events.
- Proofreading promotional direct mail pieces.
- Maintain promotional merchandise inventory.
- Updates budget on a weekly basis.
- Accurately complete paperwork for all promotions, including finance requests.
- Continue to create a culture of fun in an entertaining atmosphere.
- Partners with manager for the execution of promotion campaigns for property, website and social media information.
- Maintain up to date information of casino events to ensure guests and employees receive accurate and prompt information.
- Executes events supporting Marketing Supervisor.
- Works closely with all areas of marketing, operations, and IT to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues of concern.
- Manages the opening of job requests from various departments and ensures jobs are produced within campaign and brand parameters, on time and within budget. •
- Responsible for ensuring all signage is accurate, relevant and in good condition.
- Promotes positive guest relations but also team player that is courteous, and helpful attitude.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma or GED required. BA degree in Marketing preferred.
- Must have excellent organizational, communication, customer service skills, multitasking, and flexibility with scheduling
- Must be able to work long hours, nights and weekends when the job requires.
- Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Canva.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: - Must be able to move in and around on the casino floor quickly.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, twist and balance.
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
