69587BRAuto req ID:69587BRDepartment:13138 - MFS Infusion CenterJob Description:Under the direction of the Infusion Supervisor, the Registered Nurse provides nursing care and assumes responsibility and accountability for patients receiving multiple infusions, including chemotherapy.Buffalo, NYLocation:Millard Fillmore SuburbanRecruiter:Maryellen DemmyMinimum or Preferred Qualifications:Registered Nurse and Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. Chemotherapy Administration within 30 days required. RN's hired into Infusion center at BGMC prior to 7/2018 will have 90 days to receive chemotherapy administration certificate and must maintain thereafter. If certification is absent upon job offer, RN's applying for and awarded position of Infusion Nurse must obtain chemotherapy administration certificate within 30 days of job offer.For Registered Nurse clinical positions, internal applicants must have been employed in the same job title as the per diem position for which they are applying or in a comparable area of practice. Internal applicants must have a minimum of nine (9) continuous months of comparable work experience within two (2) years of the time the per diem job is posted. External applicants must have a minimum of one (1) continuous year of comparable work experience within two (2) years of the time the per diem job is posted.
