Position SummaryThe Staffing Specialist leads recruiting for hourly distribution center roles including development and execution ofrecruitment strategy. This role is responsible for achieving a robust applicant flow while meeting candidate qualityrequirements.
- Serves as subject matter expert for the local team for all talent acquisition strategies
- Creates and executes recruitment advertising plans; liaise with corporate recruiting to ensure alignment with branding guidelines and strategy
- Leads hourly recruiting activities including job postings, candidate screening and interviewing, background/drug screening, job offers, new hire paperwork
- Leads virtual and onsite job fair planning and logistics
- Develops meaningful community partnerships to build talent pipelines
- Conducts new hire orientation delivered classroom-style for large groups covering all Company information, policies, benefits, responding to associate questions
- Manages requisitions within applicant tracking system and/or job boards
- Educate internal partners on best practices in sourcing, legal requirements, interviewing skills, developmental programs, and other related topics
- Identify new partners as needed to diversify talent pools and uncover new sources of talent
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years experience in recruiting or a related field
