Process employees through the hiring process and respond to various Human Capital Management and Payroll questions or concerns.
Assist in human resource activities including staffing, compensation, employee relations, benefits, and training.
Provide advice, assistance, resolution, and follow up on district policies and procedures, and documentation.
Recommend, maintain and provide feedback related to human resource databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
Serve as HCM representative on various committees.
Interface with departments regarding technology access and other pertinent items.
Develop, maintain, and provide quality control of various HR databases including Oracle, HRIS, job verification, and Separated Employee File archive databases.
Acts as point person on special projects as assigned.
Keep abreast of technical and professional developments affecting assigned responsibilities.
Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. equivalency).
Two (2) years of related experience preferred.
Three to Five (3-5) years in Keyboarding, word processing, spreadsheets, and file maintenance preferred.
Ability to analyze and interpret archival data in adherence to local, state, and district regulations.
Ability to successfully complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision and work in a fast- paced environment.
Problem-solving and investigative skills as needed to research inquiries.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of district personnel and the public verbally and in written format.
