This role may require occasional travel to local business sites.$500 sign-on bonus offered to eligible participants hired while the program is in effect, paid in two installments. Bonuses are subject to all applicable taxes. All other rules governing this program will apply.Current employees and contract workers are not eligible.As the Specialist, Logistics, you will be responsible for monitoring drivers' delivery activity, scheduling, delivery and routing issues with external customers and contracted drivers. Position involves heavy phone contact between external customers and contracted drivers. In addition, the position is responsible for billing and data entry tasks. As a part of the RXO team, you'll have a starring role in helping us continue to provide daily freight solutions for our global customers.What your day-to-day will look like:Maintain phone communication between external customers and contracted drivers/couriersAssist contracted drivers with delivery issuesResolve any customer issues, complaints and answer questionsMonitoring progress of delivery routesCustomer billing and data entry tasksAssign drivers/couriers delivery routesOversee all unloading processes of returning routes at day's endAdditional duties as requestedWhat you'll need to excel:At a minimum, you'll need:1 year of experience in a customer service role resolving issues and responding to customer requestsIt'd be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalentExperience in a call center environmentStrong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issuesSolid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skillsAbility to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectationsThis job requires the ability to:Able to lift up to 25 poundsIn this role, you'll be supported by a passionate team motivated by fast-paced innovation and the desire to deliver for customers.
