Job Description:
Job Purpose:Supports the strategy, goals, and objectives of the CBI Security organization. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the company's physical assets, personnel, and facilities. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and managing security systems to mitigate potential threats. CBI Security works with the business to assess risk and implement appropriate security measures.Essential Functions:
Security Management - Provide technical guidance necessary for the implementation of security procedures, guidelines, and trainingPeople Management - Direct and indirect management of employees, teams, and stakeholders; sets the direction of cross-functional teams and stakeholders and mentors department staffFinancials - Track and measure costs to ensure appropriate investment and efficient and effective solutions to drive business valueRisk Management - Identifies and mitigates potential physical security risks. Collaborate with corporate business partners and agencies to identify, prioritize, and implement physical security strategies. (Compliance Management - Perform physical risk assessments and security audits to identify gaps and recommend enhancements to altafiber's facilities.Policies and standards - Develop and implement physical security protocols and procedures to protect personnel, assets, and facilities.Innovative Solutions - Designs creative solutions that use technologies and processes to mitigate physical risks to altafiber information, IT systems, electronic products, facilities, and physical assetsSecurity Implementation and Operations - Operationalize documented solutions and deliver day-to-day security operations and supportEducation:Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalentExperience/Background:3 to 5 years work experience including security or law enforcementSpecial Knowledge/Skills:Proven experience in physical security, risk assessment, and security system management.Strong knowledge of security technologies, including physical access controls, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems.Specific training in investigation and forensic policies and practicesEffectively meeting customer needs; building productive customer relationships; taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and problem resolutionEffective oral, written and presentation skillsEstablished law enforcement liaison networkWork Environment:Hybrid office setting, remote and field workSupervisory Responsibilities:Leads work teams (assigns, coordinates, and checks work) for employees performing similar workDirects contract employees through project management
