Summary/Objective:
You will be responsible for executing on all SEO activities such as keyword research, keyword list management, content and meta data optimizations, on-page SEO recommendations and enhancements, backlink building, and on-site search engine optimization. You will also play a pivotal role in advising and driving technical SEO improvements, such as improvement to page load speed, optimizations for Core Web Vitals, and others. In addition to the execution of these responsibilities, you will also regularly report on key metrics and SEO wins that align with the overall goals of the Marketing department and business.
You are more than just a knowledge resource for others. You know how to take action on SEO opportunities. Your actions will help drive the success of the team's goals in sync with the goals of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
* Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
* Identify content opportunities based on SEO goals, including new content, content changes, new visual assets, website architecture changes, and interlinking opportunities
* Assign SEO tasks to Content Specialists and Developers for implementation as well as execute on the tasks yourself
* Advise and collaborate with Advertising team, Social team, Development team, and others to champion SEO best practices and advance mutual goals
* Drive technical SEO improvements in collaboration with the Development team, such as sitemap, structured data, and load speed improvements
* Track, report, and analyze website metrics for Marketing initiatives and campaigns
* Perform other duties as needed

Working Conditions:

Qualifications:
* 3 years of working experience within the SEO field
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
* Keeping current with content and SEO industry standards, trends, and new developments, including AI search tools
* Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
* Experience optimizing for Google, YouTube, Bing, and others
* In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, OnCrawl, Contentsquare, Algolia)
* Experience with keyword research tools, such as Semrush, BrightEdge, VidIQ, Keyword Planner
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried role, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Travel:
Travel will be minimal.
Preferred Education and Experience:
* Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
* Experience with webpage builder programs, such as WordPress, Magento, Contentful, etc.
* Experience with task management tools, such as Jira
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be able to pass EVerify.
