As a Specialty Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and patient-centered care in our Medical Group practices. You will support patients, their families, and caregivers while collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary care team, which includes physicians and registered nurses. Core Job Responsibilities:

• Gather vital patient measurements and collect comprehensive patient data.
• Record and accurately report patient findings.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments to ensure optimal care.
• Assist with examinations and treatments as directed by licensed healthcare providers.
• Perform supportive care and health coaching tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.
• Empower patients in self-care and adherence to their care plans.
• Always utilize standard precautions and maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee equipment, supplies, and inventory to keep our facilities well-organized and clean.
• Enhance your nursing skills through ongoing education, attending workshops, and participating in team discussions.
• Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure a collaborative environment.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and communicate with the appropriate healthcare providers as needed.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Required: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Required:

• Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Basic Life Support Certification (must be obtained within 6 weeks of hire).
