Overview:

As a Wholesale Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding our client base by managing inbound wholesale inquiries, cultivating new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with existing specialty boutique customers. You'll be the frontline ambassador of our brand, representing us on the phone and in person at 3 trade shows a year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field all wholesale inquiries and requests from smaller retailers nationwide, providing timely and accurate information about products, pricing, and availability.
  • Collaborate closely with our operations team to manage inventory and strategize product priorities
  • Research and conduct cold calls to establish new accounts across the country, identifying prime boutiques for Packed Party products. You understand where our brand fits and where it does not, and are up to date on all the hottest new stores in the key cities.
  • Follow up with existing customers to facilitate reorders and assess product performance in stores.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients through effective communication via phone and email.
  • Effectively manage customer accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of issues, proactive communication, and timely follow-ups to maintain strong partnerships.
  • Represent the brand at Markets, trade shows, and other sales opportunities, showcasing products, networking with potential clients, and promoting brand awareness and visibility.
  • Manage our third party rep group for the Western US to ensure team is productive, on brand, and has the assets and materials they need to be successful

  • The confidence to hop on the phone and cold call new accounts where the brand makes sense
  • A proven track record of sales achievement
  • A serious passion to win and willingness to not take no for an answer
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly in building relationships over the phone.
  • Excellent project and time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and manage a large client base.
  • Strong negotiation skills
