Position: SPED ParaprofessionalRate: $18 per hourFocused Staffing Group has partnered with a school in Oakland, NJ that is currently looking for a Special Education Paraprofessional.Qualifications:
- Knowledge of and the ability to assist in the implementation of instructional programs for students in reading, writing, mathematics, and/or other content areas
- Strong communication skills and ability to accept direction and supervision from certificated staff & Child Study Team required
- Knowledge of child growth and development
- Willing to ride the bus
- Child-centered
- Knowledge of specific handicapping conditions preferred
- Teacher Certification preferred
- Experience working with children
- ABA Experience preferred
- NJ Criminal Background Check and CPR/AED Certification required
