The Tri-County Technical College Arts and Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Speech Adjunct Instructors. Successful candidates will teach courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Teaching Assignments may include both day and evening classes, and at various Tri-County Technical College community campuses within Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties. This role is a part-time, non-benefited role
The Speech Adjunct Instructor role is a part-time employment role. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at one of our four community campuses (Anderson, Easley, Pendleton, or Oconee) or teach online instruction. The Spring 2025 Semester begins on January 2nd.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech and/or Communications (coursework may include courses with prefixes such as SPC or COMM in order to be credentialed for this role).

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in a community college; successful experience using a variety of active and collaborative learning strategies; experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning; and a demonstrated track record showing regular professional development around their teaching and the discipline.
